SEO Basics Training Workshop

SEO Basics Training Workshop

Do you see Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) as a difficult and complicated mystery black box? Unfortunately, many SEO providers present SEO this way. This is why we started offering SEO Basics Training workshops. Jane managed to dominate the front page of Google with super simple strategies for her resume writing business – to the point she had to take the website down! Learn how she did this, and how her clients and sites we’ve found have used these evolved strategies more recently with great results.

As soon as you set up your domain name, you’re inundated with people offering SEO services, often from an Outlook or Hotmail address that should raise suspicion. Some people have been legitimately quoted $300 – $3000 a month for SEO activities. Either way, neither of these options are often palatable for small business. In this SEO basics workshop, we’re going to show you that SEO is not a mystery black box and makes a huge difference to the visibility of your website.

What you will learn in the SEO Basics training workshop

You’ll learn some basic SEO techniques including a breakdown of the Google Search Engine Results Page (SERP) results, keyword research you can conduct yourself, and some simple tools you can utilise to monitor SEO progress. We cover the top ten ways to appear on Google’s front page for free – many don’t even require a website! This will set you up to learn more, or outsource with some understanding and with less chance of being ripped off!

SEO Beyond the Basics

This workshop is followed up by a second session – SEO Beyond the Basics, which goes into some more technical website focused SEO and also User Experience (UX). It is expected at the second session you have attended this first session, or have sound basic knowledge of search engines, SERPs, and keywords. This session will be held 3 March 2022 and you will need to register for it separately.
