Although FAQ Business Training is based in Penrith, Western Sydney, Australia, our Founder Jane Tweedy is from Wellington New Zealand and is keen to help businesses in her former hometown. Business training in NZ can be offered with a focus in Wellington and the Wairarapa.
Live Wellington business training and events
We will soon be offering online training which Wellington, Wairarapa and broader New Zealand resident small business owners can take advantage of. However, we will also be looking to offer business workshops, and presentations at Wellington business events. Business retreats in the Wairarapa (possibly Riversdale Beach, Castlepoint (pictured) or a Martinborough winery closer to Wellington) may be another option.

Types of events we participate in
Facilitated training sessions for teams and executives
Our founder Jane Tweedy is ex corporate, including management roles in large ASX companies. She is familiar with these environments and the leadership structures within. Since leaving corporate Jane has been working mainly in small business, but has also further developed her coaching and facilitation skills. This allows her to lead and facilitate training and growth sessions within businesses and teams of all sizes.
Conference speaking - practical business education
Our founder Jane has spoken at a variety of conferences and large scale events including the 2020 AGHA Sydney Gift Fair, 2019 WordCamp Sydney, 2019 Hills District Small Business Expo, 2018 WordCamp Sydney and Brisbane, 2018 Copycon, and 2018 NRMA Drivers Instructors Conference. Topics are not cookie cutter and are tailored to the audience need and with examples suited to them. Contact us to advise your requirements.
Networking group sessions
Networking group training sessions may be of different sizes, formats and topics. We like our sessions to be interactive (even with 70 in the audience we encourage questions, participation and group work). We like to provide break out exercises which encourage participants to extract ideas from within and each other.

Panel discussions on business topics
The pictured event is a great example of the types of panels we have appeared on. This was a Women in Business event led by Australian Olympian Elka Whalan, with two successful local business owners as inspiration and our founder Jane to help with the implementation and practical aspects. Jane has also appeared on a budget panel hosted by XERO.
