Currently our Founder Jane Tweedy is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a BEC Australia approved advisor and an approved contracted NSW Government funded Business Connect Advisor. Jane loves her small business clients and will always find a way to bring in some form of coaching to her clients. Even if coaching needs to move from one on one to small group as we grow.
As Jane is personally based just north of Penrith in Western Sydney, we can offer 2 hour in-person sessions within a 30 minute radius. Online sessions can be offered to almost anyone, at almost any time, anywhere globally. We do sleep sometimes but what we’re saying is we can accommodate most people! The NSW Government Business Connect program is restricted to NSW residents only and within your hour cap.

When you don’t know it can be tough. When you don’t know what you don’t know, it can be even more tough! That’s okay. We can guide you through the process and ensure you receive well considered, independent advice.
Business coaching
Coaching is not the same as advice. We do consider it equally or even more important. Business coaching is designed to extract the best from you. It works on the basis you are the best person to make a decision for you.

When you need more detail, we can help one on one or in groups. We can guide you through step by step key how-to’s including things like pricing, blogging, marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) and much more!

Professional Certified Coach with International Coaching Federation (PCC)
Jane has completed a Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching with Fire Up Coaching, and has completed over 500 hours of coaching to obtain a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This gives Jane a lot more tools in the coaching toolkit which is great for breaking down barriers you may have. With the proliferation of business coaches we believe it also allows us to show our credentials are backed by a quality global peak body.

Jane Tweedy is the Founder and Lead Trainer of FAQ Business Training, FAQ Business Consulting, and the host of FAQ Business Podcast. She is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and an HBDI® Certified Practitioner. Jane holds a multitude of formal business qualifications up to a Masters of Applied Finance (with Merit), and studies informally daily with great local and international trainers and coaches. In February 2022 Jane received the award for 2021 Outstanding Educational Service at the Penrith Local Business Awards.
Passionate about small business, in particular helping growing small business owners who are doing the right thing to do it right. Jane loves helping fill in gaps in knowledge, or encouraging you to untap your inner awesomeness so you can reach your business and life potential! Jane’s coaching and advisory sessions are always based on your agenda, your need, with no set program, and currently on a session by session basis (no lengthy lock-ins here). Sessions combine coaching, advisory and training to meet your needs on the day.

Just check out our FAQ Business Podcast, Tea Time Tips or past events tabs on our website. Clients are regularly surprised by the depth and breadth of knowledge Jane has. But when you meet over 1800 small business clients one on one over 7 years, you get a pretty good understanding of the issues small business owners face. In all those times (multiplied by multiple meetings of course), Jane has only been stumped twice! If you know how to get religious foreign movies into mainstream theatre distribution you beat me (although even then, now I would have someone they could at least try to get information from)!

If you’re in NSW then please book a NSW Government funded Business Connect session only. For these sessions we jump straight in, so no discovery calls for these. Simply choose your 60 or 90 minute or 2 hour meeting time and book in. Most sessions are currently online. Limited in-person 2 hour meetings are available.
A minimum 2 hour meeting is required for in-person meetings. In-person meetings must be within 30 minutes of the Penrith/Hawkesbury area (North Western Sydney, lower Blue Mountains, Blacktown and The Hills District, as far as Parramatta), or you will need to arrange to meet somewhere within this locality.
Please note you do need hours available under Business Connect (we will check the system). From 1 April 2022 a new contract commenced. You get a total of 36 hours to use by 30 June 2025. All sessions are currently no cost to you (fully funded by the NSW Government). From 1 July 2022 you will get a financial year annual cap of 8 hours p.a. advice and 4 hours training workshops/webinars p.a. (so please be really careful with the latter or you may miss out on advice!).

If you’re outside NSW, or anywhere globally outside Australia, then we offer online services only. Please book a ONCE ONLY free discovery call. Note these are not for advice or coaching – they are purely to ascertain your needs and whether we are a good mutual fit. After all your business advisor or your business coach is going to know a lot about you, and we need a relationship built on trust and mutual respect.
Note our advice can be limited for offshore jurisdictions as we will not be familiar with your legal requirements to run your business. However, there are PLENTY of topics which fall outside that scope we can help you with!
